It starts with Sid, a clumsy ground sloth left behind by his family, decides to move on by himself but is attacked by two animals that look like rhinos whom he angered by eating their dandelion. Sid is soon saved by Manny a mammoth who fights them off. Sid follows Manny because doesn't want he to be alone and unprotected. Meanwhile,it goes to a pack of sabertooth tigers are attacking a human village.The mother gets away safely but ,later gets cornered by Diego and she jumps down a waterfall. The mother only has enough strength to push her baby to Manny before she disappears into the water. Sid and Manny go to the village and find it deserted.They meet Diego there and he gains their trust. He joins their herd and they continue to look for the baby's father.They reach their destination but,encounter a lava river. They all get across but,Diego freezes because he is too scared to jump.Diego jumps and almost falls but,luckly Manny was fast enough to save him.They rest for the night and there baby takes his first steps.The next day they start walking until Diego tells them about an ambush his pack is going to do.Manny and Sid get mad at Diego because they trusted him.Diego says that he is going to help them but,they have to trust him.So,after Sid leds one of them away,Manny gets cornered by the pack.Diego pretends to be on the packs side but then he turns around and says that he is with Manny.Diego gets hit an goes unconscious.The leader of the pack is going to strike at Manny but,Diego jumps in the way and takes the hit.While, the leader of the pack is distracted,Manny hits the leader to a rock wall and the icicles fall on him leading to death.Manny and Sid mourn because they think that Diego's injuries are critical.They start heading towards the baby's dad.They reach them in time and give the baby back to his father and the father thanks them.Then,Diego comes back and says bye to the baby and they watch the baby leave.
Ice Age is one of my all time favorite movie.Ice Age is a excellent movie because it's a funny and adventurous movie.Ice Age is a movie for a whole family to watch.My family and I always watch this movie when it's on the TV.I favorite character is Sid because he is very funny.Sid if funny because of how he acts and his personality.I like the part when they went down the ice slides and they were trying to catch the baby.I also liked the part when Diego was fighting his old pack leader.
